Flight Report #10

June 5 - 7, 2013

Honor Flight Southern Arizona sent off its third and final flight of the spring – our D-Day flight leaving on June 5th, in order to be at the WWII Memorial on June 6th.  On board: 25 Veterans, 16 Guardians, and 2 Team Leaders.

Again, we would like to thank everyone involved, which is nearly impossible with the incredible patronage and generous contributions we receive from this community.

Honor Flight #10 included 1 sponsored Veteran:
Sierra Vista Lodge # 2065 BPOE sponsored J. Keeley, Sr.
Thanks Larry.

Also making donations to the general fund for this flight:
AMVETS Tucson Post 770
AMVETS Tucson Post 770 - Ladies Auxilary
Southwest Gas Foundation
NARVRE Inc. Unit 63 - Tucson
CEMEX Corporation - Tucson

I would like to give a special thanks to Dee and Viki and everyone at the TAA for overall coordination with our group and for setting up alternate parking arrangements due to the solar panel construction project.  Also a special thanks to Roy and Linda with American Airlines for their spirited cooperation with the Honor Flight Program.

Thanks again to the southern Arizona organizations and business for your help in getting our Veterans to Washington DC. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made a donation to Honor Flight Southern Arizona this year. Your generosity has enabled us to send these vets on their well-deserved trip. And also, we cannot forget the amazing volunteers of Honor Flight Southern Arizona who make these events and fundraisers happen. What a special group of people - all working together for a common goal.
