I would like to give a special thanks to Dee Brunner, Viki Matthews, and everyone at the TAA for overall coordination with our group and for providing such large send-off and welcome home crowds with parking validation.  Our relationship with the DM Desert Lightning Team and Color Guard, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Arizona Rangers, and the Cienega HS NJROTC units make our send-offs and returns very special for everyone in attendance. Also a special thanks to American Airlines for their spirited cooperation with the Honor Flight Program. (And another thank-you to the Oro Valley United Church of Christ for writing the letters to our April flight Veterans!)

The generosity of the entire community has enabled us to send these vets on their well-deserved trip. Local businesses, organizations, clubs, and schools - working together with our volunteers - strive to raise money in order to make these flights happen. All of us at Honor Flight Southern Arizona thank you for your dedication and hard work - we have accomplished something amazing for our WWII Vets to experience.

      Welcome home 4/8
